Non-urgent advice: Out of Hours
When the surgery is closed if you require medical advice or need to see a doctor, please telephone NHS 111. A call operator will ask you questions about your condition/concern, if necessary a doctor or nurse will call you back with further advice.
Patients can also attend the GP led urgent care center located at the George Eliot Hospital next to A&E.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Non-urgent advice: Extended Hour Services
This surgery offers appointments to see a GP or Nurse in the evening or at weekends.
Patients can request a routine appointment at reception and choose to be seen in our Extended Access hub in Nuneaton.
Appointments are available Monday to Friday between 6.30pm and 9.30pm and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Patients cannot attend this service without a pre-booked appointment.
Other information
If you need to speak to a Doctor urgently when the surgery is closed during the week between 12.30 – 14.00, please telephone 074 9435 9667. Initially you will speak to a member of the reception team who will need to take details of your request and arrange for a Doctor to call you back.
The above times are when the surgery phone lines are open, the doors to the surgery are open from 08.00 am until 6.30 pm.
PROTECTED LEARNING TIME
The surgery will be closed 12.30 – 6.30 pm on the following dates in 2021, this is for GP and Staff protected learning time:-

Extended Hours Service
We offer appointments to see a Nurse between 7.00 – 8.00 am Monday and Tuesday mornings. Patients can request these routine appointments at reception.
We also offer GP telephone appointments some weekdays between 7.30 – 8.00 am or 6.30 – 7.00 pm. Please ask at reception for details.
