Tackling the Problem of Medicine Waste

Sometimes patients, carers or representatives of the patient continue to request repeat medication that they already have a supply of and stockpile medication at home. Please think carefully before ticking the items on your repeat prescription form. Only tick the items that you really need.

If you obtain your medication from a community pharmacy and you are receiving items you no longer use please inform your GP or a member of the practice team.
